Kessingland Residents Decide on Their Future Village

The people of Kessingland are being consulted on how they wish the village to grow and develop as time progresses.

It all forms part of the Government’s Neighbourhood Planning Scheme, in which community consultation events are taking place to give locals the power to make their own choices about where their settlements’ new offices, housing and shops are to be built.

As regards the scheme, two public consultations are set to take place this week in order to gauge public opinion as the whether or not the Neighbourhood Planning Scheme is right for Kessingland and if local residents would be interested in getting involved with it. Set to take place from 2 – 8pm on Friday and from 10am – 2pm on the following Saturday, the consultation events are to take place at Marram Green.
